#enjoying coffee with Matthew Silkwood (HOMR) yesterday and he encouraged me to share the story of knocking 1000+ doors to locate my first-ever real estate transaction in early 2022.
Don’t let the picture fool you- I was no superstar athlete. Think more along the lines of “Rudy.”
Not the most talented, tallest or fastest, however always striving, pursuing growth and most importantly- constantly failing.
Basically, I became comfortable, being uncomfortable.
This proved invaluable entering the real estate sector. Never before had I felt more like an athlete, facing resistance and having to overcome challenges. One after the next.
The quest for my first-ever real estate transaction was a test of will.
In the words of Will Smith- “Either I’m dying on that treadmill or you’re getting off first!”
