Dallas County Median Price Increases in October

Days on Market Remains Steady

October in Dallas County brought more of the same in terms of the single-family residential real estate market.

While the median sales price grew 11.1% vs. October 2021 to $350,000, sales declined 29%.

This happening all while listings surged 22% YOY, continuing to reallocate the supply/demand in the Dallas County Market.

There are signs of optimism in the local market, that we have recently seen on the national stage with recent CPI reports driving stocks up to gains we hadn't seen since 2020. We will touch on that next week! Stay tuned.

With Dallas County's inventory- which gauges supply/demand in the SFR real estate market holding at 1.9 months, the market seems to be holding strong despite recent rate hikes and how that continues to affect buyers, sellers and the overall supply/demand of the markets.
