DFW Housing in August 2024 saw the following results from MetroTex:
While prices didn't decline YOY, with mortgage rates improving the most they have in 18-months, the numbers above do represent improvement for DFW buyers while sellers maintain their ability to ask for top-dollar.
Look for September and October results to be more telling. With the Fed cutting rates .50 last week, affordability for buyers and overall consumer sentiment should continue to increase, creating a catalyst for the DFW markets this fall.
