Happy Halloween, DFW!
Today we look at Halloween in Dallas in comparison to 2021 for the SFR real estate market.
2021 saw median stats that included $204.64/sqft, 13 days on the market and a $415,000 sales price.
Fast-forward to today and prices have surged to $238.53/sqft, 18 days on the market and a sales price of $495,000- all on a median basis.
More so, closings dipped from 816 to 564 as of today. This represents almost a 31% decline in sales YOY.
With GDP reporting last week and another Fed rate hike likely on the horizon, where will the SFR market go from here?!
