Over the previous week we have broken down surrounding counties and their SFR real estate reports.
Tarrant County reflected similar results in October to surrounding areas in comparison to October 2021.
The county's median sales price climbed to $355,000, a 12.7% increase YOY while listings surged 76.9%.
Sales dipped 26% during the month as well- somewhat to be expected as inflation continues to drive prices up despite mortgage rates doubling YOY.
Days on market also increased by 11 days totaling at 35, increasing buyer leverage throughout DFW.
This metric elaborates on supply/demand and how properties are staying on the market longer, as rates go up and listings surge. Buyers have the ability to view more properties and take their time before offering on their favorite properties.
